This is what I notice when I'm on holiday, whether I stay at home or go away... I begin still running on work / Mum pace, thinking ahead, checking my phone, half still in everything I'm used to doing. Then something starts to shift after a day or two. My shoulders drop a little. My sleep starts to change. My breathing deepens without trying. And suddenly it's apparent how much I've actually been holding. That's the moment I feel ready for a massage. If you know, you know.. being a solopreneur means wearing every hat. One minute I'm giving a massage, the next I'm washing towels, answering enquiries, planning social media, keeping on top of admin, loading the car and somehow remembering to feed myself too! It's not always glamorous, and there are definitely days when I wonder where the hours have gone. But the freedom to build a business around my values, support wonderful clients and still make time for family and adventures makes it all worthwhile.
